Are players actually happy about some classes being forced to play perma cc at higher GR?

I know its mostly opinion based and the obvious answer is if you dont like it dont play it that way but to be competitive as GR are meant to be most classes are forced into this role. (this is only a multiplayer problem)

im just surprised that blizzard or the community has not been more vocal about this.

maybe its just me but was just wondering what the community thinks and no matter how much class balance goes out without some tweaks to mobs and/or class skills this will always be the end game of d3.
