Embarking on a Pilgrimage of Dread through Sanctuary in Diablo Immortal

 

Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new limited-time event for Diablo Immortal - the "Dread Pilgrimage"​​. This immersive experience will take players on an epic journey through the ruins of a once-majestic chapel that has now become a battleground for the forces of Hell​.

The event, which is set to run from June 1, at 3 a.m. server time to August 2, at 3 a.m. server time, will challenge players with a series of tasks, each tied to a different part of the chapel. Completing these challenges will not only reward players with long-forgotten treasures, but also provide glimpses into the future of Sanctuary, the game world of Diablo Immortal​.

Each challenge is associated with a particular aspect of the chapel. The first of these, tied to the left-most window, becomes available on June 1 and requires players to defeat 10 Elite Enemies. Subsequent challenges are tied to the right-most window, the near-right window, the near-left window, and finally the statue. Each of these challenges will become available at specific dates throughout the event, with the final challenge involving the completion of a brand-new event​.

Server maintenance will be carried out before the event goes live, which will take place on May 23, from 5 p.m.–7 p.m. PDT for Oceania, China, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe Servers, and on May 24, from 1 a.m.–3 a.m. PDT for servers in the Americas. After the maintenance concludes, all the items mentioned will become live and available for players​.

Blizzard Entertainment has also hinted at further upcoming events, including the "Merciless Monstrosity" event, the "Children of Lilith Battle Pass", and the "Hatred’s Heritage Phantom Market"​⁶​. More details regarding these events will be released in a blog post on June 1.
